Description of Role
Overview
As a Marketing Strategist, you will have the same responsibilities as the marketing manager for a client. This role includes managing client relationships, developing cohesive marketing strategies, and ensuring successful project execution. You will be responsible for translating client goals into actionable strategies while coordinating with our specialist teams to deliver results that meet or exceed expectations. You will also evaluate campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Gather and translate client briefs into clear and actionable plans for support teams.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and target audience.
- Provide regular updates and progress reports to clients, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Campaign/Marketing Strategy Development
- Develop integrated marketing strategies that align with client objectives, leveraging digital, creative, tech, and event solutions.
- Identify target audiences, positioning, messaging, and channel mix to achieve client KPIs.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to inform strategic recommendations.
- Create detailed campaign plans and roadmaps, including timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Project Management & Coordination
- Coordinate with specialist teams, including creative, social media, tech, events, and performance marketing, to execute campaigns.
- Brief teams on project requirements and ensure tasks are clearly defined and deliverables are met on time.
- Proactively manage project risks and troubleshoot issues to maintain smooth workflow.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to measure success against client objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports with insights on campaign performance, ROI, and key learnings.
- Leverage data to identify opportunities for future campaign improvements and innovations.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing strategy, client management, or project management roles.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of marketing channels, including digital, social media, creative, events, and performance marketing.
- Exceptional project management skills with a proven track record of delivering campaigns on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and inspire internal teams.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, or other reporting platforms.
- Proficient in creating presentations, campaign roadmaps, and reports.
