Description of Role

We are seeking an Event Manager to take full ownership of our event portfolio while serving as a key liaison for cross-regional collaboration. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, management, and delivery of events - from initial strategy and budgeting through to on-site execution and post-event analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Event Strategy & Execution

  • Develop event strategies and manage the entire event lifecycle, ensuring alignment with company goals and client objectives.
  • Develop and implement event strategies, processes, and best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Manage the event budget, forecasting, and P&L to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of all corporate and marketing events, from concept to post-event analysis.
  • Act as primary senior liaison between clients, vendors, and internal departments, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Provide creative input and strategic recommendations to enhance event concepts and experiences.
  • Troubleshoot issues during planning and on-site to guarantee seamless execution.
  • Manage event execution to ensure high-quality and timely delivery within scope and budget.

Client & Operational Excellence

  • Serve as main point of contact for clients; run workshops, pre-prod meetings, and executive rehearsals.
  • Lead high-level client communications including briefings, presentations, and post-event reviews.
  • Negotiate and manage relationships with senior stakeholders, key vendors, and venues.
  • Ensure highest client satisfaction through strategic oversight and expert problem-solving.
  • Foster a calm, solutions-first culture—especially under show pressure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years in event management, preferably in an agency environment.
  • Proven experience in event strategy, budget management, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong financial acumen and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creativity and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
